Conduct
The Conduct team is dedicated to reviewing incident reports, conducting investigations, and working with students to accountability regarding violations of the 香港六合彩开奖结果2023 Student Code of Conduct through the following:
Behavioral Misconduct
The 香港六合彩开奖结果2023 Student Code of Conduct defines behaviors, known as violations, that do not align with the institutional values of integrity, respect, accountability, and innovation. If a student is referred for potential misconduct, they will be asked to participate in the disciplinary hearing process and be afforded due process rights. The conduct process is designed to challenge the moral and ethical decision-making of students and treat students with consistency, fairness, and understanding.
Academic Misconduct
Integrating academic misconduct into the overall conduct process allows for the disciplinary process to be documented while continuously providing faculty with the academic freedom to assign grades. This process includes an informal conversation track, an informal mediation track, and a formal track called the Academic Violation Panel Forum. Faculty participation is highly encouraged throughout to promote academic integrity within the 香港六合彩开奖结果2023 community.
Organizational Misconduct
Student organizations are treated similarly to students per the 香港六合彩开奖结果2023 Student Code of Conduct and FL. Stat. §1006.60. Athletic teams, fraternities and sororities, identify-based organizations, and clubs registered under the Osprey Involvement Center are expected to abide by the 香港六合彩开奖结果2023 Student Code of Conduct, and processes have been designed to determine either collective or individual responsibility.
Investigations
When an initial referral does not include sufficient detail, a prompt, thorough, and impartial investigation may occur. This investigation helps determine if there is reasonable cause to issue a Notice of Charges letter under the 香港六合彩开奖结果2023 Student Code of Conduct. An investigator will be assigned and develop a plan, review materials, and schedule interviews to gather additional information. The investigator presents a final report to the Dean of Students with a recommendation for moving the case forward under conduct or to another campus area for review.
