Care Services MSW Intern

Dustin Pruitt serves as the Care Services MSW Intern in the Dean of Students Office. He mainly focuses on assisting the Care Services team with our Exceptional Withdrawal process and case management. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û2023 in May 2024. He is currently pursuing his Master’s in Social Work here at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û2023 and has goals to eventually pursue Licensure, as well as a Doctorate in School and Mental Health Social Work. He hopes to be able to advocate for college aged students who may not have the means to do so themselves.

Student Conduct MSW Intern

Armani is a second year Student Support Specialist and MSW Intern for the Dean of Students Office. She supports the Student Conduct team by serving as a Hearing Administrator and assisting with general case management. Upon graduating with her Master of Social Work, Armani hopes to continue working within higher education. In her spare time, Armani enjoys listening to music, singing, and spending time with friends and family - more specifically Athena, her niece pup, and her nephew pup, Yogi.

Victim Advocacy MSW Intern

Noela Momburi serves as the MSW Intern for the Victim Advocacy Program within the Dean of Students Office. She focuses on providing trauma-informed support to individuals in the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û2023 community who have experienced victimization, assisting them with resources, case management, and crisis intervention. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and is currently pursuing her Masters in Social Work. She is passionate about empowering individuals to feel safe, heard, and supported, especially those who may face barriers in seeking help.

Student Assistant

Reuben Amarh currently serves as a Student Assistant in the Dean of Students Office. Reuben is responsible for front desk operations, such as greeting visitors, providing general DOS information and answering the phones, as well as maintaining the Nesting Place Pantry, among other duties. Reuben is currently a junior pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering. 

Student Assistant

At the moment, Ava Trotman works in the Dean of Students Office as a Student Assistant. Among other things, Ava is in charge of running the front desk, which includes welcoming guests, giving out general DOS information, taking phone calls, and maintaining the Nesting Place Pantry. Ava is a freshman studying information technology with a focus on cyber-security. Being the oldest of her siblings, she hails from a large family and demonstrates strong leadership abilities. Since her family is from the Bahamas, Ava enjoys visiting the place. When she has free time, you may find her at the beach.

Samantha serves as one of the Student Assistants at the Dean of Students Office. Samantha began her higher education at Florida State College of Jacksonville and graduated with her associate degree. She then transferred to the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û2023 to pursue her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology. Her long-term goal is to secure a position working with the FBI. In Samantha’s free time, she enjoys reading, baking, and traveling. Swoop!
