Disbursement of financial aid is the process in which financial aid awards (scholarships, grants, loans, etc.) are posted to the student’s account approximately three weeks after the start of each term.
As this process takes place, students may see changes to their anticipated aid, awards and charges.

- Timing of disbursements is contingent upon students meeting all conditions for receiving aid and confirmation of academic activity. See Documentation of Academic Activity for additional information.
- The first Financial Aid disbursement is typically three weeks after classes have begun each term. Please note, your individual disbursement date may be later depending on the status of your financial aid file.
- Disbursement of financial aid funds will continue each week throughout the term as students complete and meet all eligibility requirements.
- After the add/drop period has ended, awards are disbursed to your 香港六合彩开奖结果2023 bill based on your actual enrollment. Students enrolled less than full-time may have their financial aid award(s) reduced and/or canceled due to not enrolling in the minimum required hours for the aid program. - The disbursement process is initiated by posting financial aid funds to the student’s account and then deducting tuition and fees (institutional charges) and other charges such as books and housing (if applicable). Students are also notified of the disbursement via email to their 香港六合彩开奖结果2023 email account.
- Taking classes at another institution through concurrent/transient enrollment may affect how your financial aid awards disburse.
- Withdrawing from classes may affect how your financial aid awards disburse.
- The summer term at 香港六合彩开奖结果2023 consists of multiple start and end dates (A, B, C, 8 and 10 week) and two separate add/drop weeks. Enrolling in fewer than six credit hours during the summer A and/or C term could delay, or even prohibit, disbursement of your financial aid. As an example, if you have accepted a Federal Direct Student Loan, you are required to enroll in a minimum of six degree-applicable credit hours in a term to receive those loan funds. If you choose to take three credit hours in summer A (or Summer C) and three credit hours in summer B, your student loan would not disburse until after summer B add/drop has ended. This also applies to 1H and 2H coursework during the fall and spring terms.
Paying Balances Not Covered by Financial Aid
If charges remain on the student’s account after disbursements, or if subsequent charges are made to the student’s account, it is the student’s responsibility to pay them by the due date listed on your 香港六合彩开奖结果2023 bill. You may view the information in under the "My Bill" section.

Financial Aid Refunds
A refund is the term used to describe any excess award amount remaining after tuition and fees and other charges are deducted from the disbursement. The 香港六合彩开奖结果2023 tuition and fees webpage has the most current information.
After aid has been applied to the outstanding balance on the student's account, any remaining funds will be processed as a refund with the exception of the PLUS Loan for Parents, which will be disbursed to the parent.
The University encourages all students to enroll in direct deposit (eRefunds). Students enroll online by submitting their routing and account numbers in the direct deposit section in "My Bill." Students who have not set up direct deposit will have their refund check mailed to their address on file within five to seven business days. Reminders to Loan Recipients
- For any Federal Direct Loan, students must be enrolled in and attending at least six degree-applicable credit hours in 香港六合彩开奖结果2023 coursework. Loans must be accepted in myWings and, if required, the and must be completed. If not, disbursement of loans will be delayed.
- If you take three credit hours in the standard term and three credit hours in parts-of-term, your student loan will not disburse until after the add/drop for the part-of-term has ended.
- Students must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours at one institution.
Making Adjustments on Federal Direct Disbursed Loans
- If it has been more than 14 days from the date of the loan disbursement notification and you wish to return or cancel your loan, please contact your loan servicer for repayment options. To view your servicer’s contact information, please visit
- If your loan was disbursed within the past 14 days, you may submit a Loan Action Request Form to cancel or reduce the disbursement. However, if any portion of the loan was used to pay tuition, book charges, housing or meal memberships, then accounts receivable will appear on your 香港六合彩开奖结果2023 account. It will be your responsibility to pay the resulting accounts receivable in a timely manner to avoid potential late fees.

- Some scholarships and grants require full-time enrollment for disbursement. Being waitlisted for a course does not count toward the student's enrollment level.
- Through the verification process, your eligibility may change resulting in an adjustment of your awards.
- Not all financial aid awards disburse at the same time.
- All awards, including accepted Federal Direct Loans, are subject to change if corrections to the student's financial aid package are required.
