TEACH Grant
The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant program is a non-need based program that provides up to $4,000* per year in grants to students who are enrolled in an eligible program and who, within eight years of completing the program for which the TEACH Grant is awarded, agree to each of the following for four years:
- Teach in a high-need field.
- Teach at a low-income elementary school, secondary school, or educational service agency.**
- Be identified as a highly qualified teacher.

Eligibility Requirements
Students must:
- Complete a FAFSA.
- Meet the for federal student aid.
- Be accepted and enrolled in a program of study designated as TEACH Grant eligible. Eligible programs are those that prepare a student to teach in a high-need area.
- Have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or greater or qualify as a current or retired teacher obtaining a master's degree.

To avoid repaying the TEACH Grant you must:

- Complete four years of teaching within eight years of graduation at a school serving low-income students.
