HONORS LIVING
Honors students will have a new option to live, study, eat and socialize on campus beginning fall 2025.
The new facility will have room for around 520 students and include all the essentials: dedicated study spaces, cozy lounges for socializing and a central kitchenette on every floor. Plus, a unique design feature will connect floors with open pathways, making it easier than ever to meet new people and stay connected with your neighbors.
This new residence hall is all about creating a close-knit community where you can live and learn alongside peers who share your academic drive and interests, making your college experience even more unforgettable.
As a member of the Honors LLC you will:
- Meet and live with other Honors students
- Interact with Honors faculty and staff both in and out of the classroom
- Take advantage of opportunities to get involved in student organizations, campus events
- Participate in interactive co-curricular activities that bring themes from the classroom to your residence
In partnership with 香港六合彩开奖结果2023 Housing and Residence Life, the Hicks Honors College offers three unique Living-Learning and Theme Communities (LLCs & TCs) designed to enrich your college experience. Starting fall 2025, the Honors First-Year LLC, Global Honors Theme Community and Honors Horizons Theme Community will all be located in the new residence hall.
Each program provides a personalized Honors experience, creating opportunities to connect with like-minded peers, explore your passions and make the most of your time at 香港六合彩开奖结果2023. Honors LLC
The Honors LLC is a first-year Living-Learning Community open to all incoming Hicks Honors College students. The Honors LLC is an excellent way for first-year students to connect with their classmates, cohort, and upperclassmen peers.
Eligibility:
- Must be a First-Time in College (FTIC) student accepted to the Hicks Honors College
- Must enroll in IDH1923 (H) Colloquium in the fall semester of their first year
Global Honors
Global Honors is frequently described as an "international village" and is a blend of Hicks Honors College upperclassmen and international students. This Themed community is open to all Hicks Honors College upperclassmen and international exchange students.
Eligibility:
- Be a current sophomore, junior, or senior (by year, not credit) in the Hicks Honors College
- And/or be an international exchange student.
Honors Horizons
The Honors Horizons Theme Community is making its debut in 2025 as a community where Hicks Honors College upperclassmen (sophomores, juniors, and seniors) can live together in a continuation of the original Honors LLC.
Eligibility:
- Be a current upperclassmen (sophomore, junior, senior) in the Hicks Honors College
- And/or be an incoming transfer student (sophomore, junior, senior) who has been accepted to the Hicks Honors College.
How to join a Honors LLC or Theme Community
Being part of an Honors LLC or Theme Community is a special opportunity, but there are a few steps to follow to secure your spot:
- Get Accepted to 香港六合彩开奖结果2023: Before anything else, you’ll need to be admitted to the 香港六合彩开奖结果2023.
- Apply to the Hicks Honors College or Be a Current Honors Student: To be eligible, you must have either applied for admission to the Hicks Honors College or already be an active Honors student.
- Complete Your Housing Contract: Log in to your myHousing Portal to fill out and submit your Housing Contract. This step allows you to have your place in on-campus housing.
- Apply for Your Desired LLC or Theme Community: Through your myHousing Portal, submit an application for the Honors LLC or Theme Community you want to join. Be sure to choose the one that aligns with your interests and goals!
Don’t Miss the Deadline! Be sure to submit your application on time, as space is limited and spots fill up quickly.
- June 6, 2025: Honors First-Year LLC deadline
- February 24, 2025: Global Honors and Honors Horizons Theme Community deadline
Acceptance to the Hicks Honors College does not automatically enroll you in an Honors LLC or Theme Community. Each program requires its own application.
