You always thought you'd be a great teacher... here's your chance! The Jacksonville Teacher Residency (JTR) offers exciting undergraduate programs designed for juniors and seniors in elementary, secondary, preK primary, exceptional student education, deaf education or music education. This year-long service-learning experience offers an incredible opportunity for aspiring educators who will complete their field placements in a high-need classroom in Duval, St. Johns, or Clay County, while receiving a living stipend and other valuable benefits.
Osprey AmeriCorps Junior Teachers
If you are a rising junior in elementary, secondary, middle school math/science, preK primary, exceptional student education, deaf education or music education and want to begin your field placement in Duval, St. Johns or Clay County while receiving financial support, apply to be an AmeriCorps Member!
Junior Year Benefits:
- Commitment term: One Academic Year (Fall & Spring Semesters)
- Living stipend of $5,200
- Paid bi-weekly per 香港六合彩开奖结果2023 payroll calendar
- Minimum 300 hours of service
- 150 field hour, minimum, each semester which includes hours earned in your field courses, required trainings/seminars and service projects
- of $1,565.08 to repay federal student loans or future tuition costs
- Other benefits include paid CPR-First Aid Training, JTR gear, access to the Member Assistance Program with AmeriCorps

JTR AmeriCorps Senior Year Residency
If you are a rising senior in elementary, secondary, middle school math/science, preK primary, exceptional student education, deaf education or music education interested in a year-long residency, are dedicated to serving your community and want to complete your field placement in Duval, St. Johns or Clay County while receiving financial support, then JTR is for you!
JTR experience provides Seniors with the following benefits:
- A year-long internship (August - June)
- A living stipend of $16,700, paid bi-weekly
- of $5,176.50
- CPR training, healthcare insurance $2,900 (January - June) and FTCE reimbursement up to $150

- Placement with a highly qualified mentor
- Professional development focused on engaging, relevant, and reflective pedagogy
