Visit 香港六合彩开奖结果2023's Science & Engineering Building (50) 

Everyone is invited to enjoy a self-guided tour of 香港六合彩开奖结果2023's Science & Engineering Building (50) hosted by students and faculty from the Physics Department and Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Several labs and classrooms will be open to the public between 10 AM and 3 PM on Saturday, October 26. Stop by to learn about cutting-edge science at 香港六合彩开奖结果2023, and take part in many fun, hands-on experiments.

 

Location

The event is being held in the Sciences & Engineering Building (50). Maps of the activity locations are available in the lobby. Parking is available in the Arena garage near the Science & Engineering building. Parking permits are not required during the event, so you can park without a parking tag. Activities

  • Make ice cream using liquid nitrogen (Lobby, from 11-1)
  • See solar flares with out rooftop telescopes
  • Explore the physics of YOU! using live motion tracking
  • Ask a question about black holes
  • Magnify up to 500,000 using our Scanning Electron Microscope
  • Tour the Atomic LEGO lab to see how materials are built one atomic layer at a time
  • Test the composition of asteroids
  • And Lots of Physics demos, including the Tesla coil, superconducting Möbius track, flame tube, invisibility shield, vortex cannon, and more!
