Travel Health Services

Are you traveling abroad in the future? At the 香港六合彩开奖结果2023, the clinic offers travel health information and appropriate vaccinations to students, faculty, and staff. Information is provided on general health risks of travel, risks of contracting diseases related to international travel and methods of prevention including vaccinations. Consultations include an updated computerized report about health issues to consider while planning your trip, and resources for maintaining your health while abroad.

Student Health Services provides:

  • Pre-Travel consultations for locations worldwide with a printed health itinerary and personalized health advice.
  • Testing for Tuberculosis.
  • Completed documentation for required physicals or visa paperwork.
  • Affordable Vaccines: Hep B, TDaP (tetanus), Measles/Mumps, Rubella, Flu, and Varicella (chickenpox).
  • Prescriptions: Typhoid Oral Vaccine (Vivotif), Azithromycin (treats severe traveler’s diarrhea), Diamox (treats altitude sickness), Malarone (or other malaria prophylactic).
  • Referral to Travel Clinic Jacksonville for Yellow Fever, Rabies, or Japanese Encephalitis Vaccines.

To schedule your travel health appointment, call (904) 620-2900 ideally 6-8 weeks before your departure date. Please be sure to complete your pre-visit paperwork, including the travel health form, at least 24 hours before your appointment. Additionally, remember to bring a copy of your immunization records to your appointment (available at Medical Compliance).
