Eligibility criteria for the Gabor award is:

  • Completed a minimum of three years of continuous service in an A&P position as of July 1 of the nominating year.
  • In good standing and endorsed by the employee's supervisor.
  • Evidence of current or recent activities (within the past three years) outside of the normal scope of the position description.
  • Excellence in overall job performance (professionalism, dependability, knowledge of the job and university operations, and works effectively and harmoniously with others) .
  • Contribution to the university.

2024 GABOR AWARD WINNER: FELICIA RIVERA

Felicia works as the Manager of Marketing & Events within 香港六合彩开奖结果2023’s Parking and Transportation Services Department. A few of her accomplishments include spearheading the visitor validation program, building a shuttle advertisement program, expanding event signage across campus departments which resulted in improved traffic flow for visitors and 香港六合彩开奖结果2023 stakeholders. She serves many departments on campus including RecWell, Athletics, the Student Union, and UPD to name a few. Felicia’s demeanor remains consistently helpful and friendly, which not only uplifts the spirits of her colleagues but also fosters a positive work environment. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure events on campus are successful even when that requires her to come in early mornings, stay late or work on the weekends. As one colleague stated, she makes the magic happen.
