This program does not lead to licensure for teacher education; This program will advance professional competencies that support roles focused on professional development and adult learning design.

Core Major Requirements (30 credits)

EME3048 Design for Learn Platforms (3 Credits)
EME4334 UDL (3 Credits)
EME3364 Research Methods LDT (3 Credits)
EME3624 Training Needs Assessment (3 Credits)
EME4043 Ins Tech Leadership (3 Credits)
EME4083 Program Evaluation in IDT (3 Credits)
EME4673 Found of Instructional Design (3 Credits)
EME4674 Dev Instructional Materials (3 Credits)
EME4684 LDT Capstone (6 Credits)*

*Course to be taken in the final semester of an academic program.

Concentration Requirements (18 credits)

18 Credits in Education: 3000/4000 level of courses that begin with EDF, EDG, EEC, EEX, EHD, RED, SSE, TSL, MAE, SCE, or SMT. However, the following courses are excluded:
               EEC 4942, EEX 4961, EHD 4944, RED 4844

Major Electives (12 credits)

Upper Division Electives can be found in the catalog list in either 3000-level or 4000-level course designation. Advisors will provide students with guidance when choosing these courses that best align with program of study and student interests that may align with complementary undergraduate minors.

EME3044 Issues and Trends in Learning Design & Technology (3 credits) may be repeated as an Upper Division Electives for a maximum of 9 credit hours with approval from the program director(s) in addition to or in lieu of courses where appropriate as defined by program leadership. It is offered as a rotating course with a current topics/experimental course as defined by the semester in which it is delivered.

48 Upper-Level Hours (48 credits)

To graduate with a Bachelor's degree from the College of Education and Human Services, you must earn a minimum of 48 upper-level credits out of a minimum 120 degree applicable required credit hours.
